In conjunction with Windridge Implements, Kymar Acres would like to announce that Saturday, June 9th will be the date of our 4th Annual Field Day and Open House. There will be equipment demonstrations, tours of the farm and other events to be announced. Check back for more details in the upcoming weeks.
Opening For The Season April 19th
Open April 19th through fall. Thanksgiving and Christmas Holiday times and dates to be determined.
Mid April - mid June: Vegetable plants, Bedding Plants and Ornamentals Vegetables: Availability depending on time of year
Fresh Cut & Potted Herbs: All market season - variety varies depending on time of year
Hours: Thursdays 2pm-6pm, Fridays 12pm-6pm & Saturdays 9:30am-3pm

Located in Decorah, across from city hall and kitty corner from the Post Office.
Allamakee Farmers Market: June 4th through September 24th.
Mondays 3:30pm to 5:30pm (end time may change)
Located at the Waukon City Park
Here at Kymar Acres and we are busy preparing for the upcoming growing season. The greenhouse is starting to fill up with new plants and planting schedules are being prepared. We look forward to the 2012 growing season and to seeing everyone out and about at the farm stand and at our local farmers markets!
If you are looking for anything special ie a hard to find plant or variety, now would be a good time to get a hold of us so we can plan on having that available at our farm stand.
We have also have a new group of chicks that will be laying age in the early spring so check back for updates for when eggs will be available again.

Kmyar Acres is proud to be part of GROWN Locally, a local farmers cooperative that markets to wholesale, institutional and retail markets for over 30 area farmers. GROWN Locally recently received a Leopold grant to help farmers reach the requirements to become GAP (Good Agricultural Practices) Certified.
